I am delighted to offer a range of professional, in-person holistic therapy courses through Coast Holistic Training. All courses are fully accredited by the International Guild of Complementary Therapists (IGCT) and are fully insurable upon successful completion.

Reiki Level 1 Course

Course Format
The course is held in Keswick and takes place over two full days (9.00am - 5.30pm)

No prior qualifications or experience are required. However, it can be beneficial to receive one or more Reiki treatments before attending the course, allowing you to gain a personal experience of Reiki energy and its effects

The training is delivered in a relaxed and supportive atmosphere, with plenty of opportunities for questions, discussion, and hands-on practice. One of the most rewarding moments of the weekend is witnessing students give their first Reiki treatment and receive feedback from fellow participants about the positive effects they have experienced

What you'll learn

During the course, you will explore:

• A brief history of Reiki
• The Five Reiki Principles
• The benefits of Reiki
• What healing is and how Reiki supports the healing process
• The human energy field and energy scanning techniques
• The location and function of the main chakras, and their importance in healing
• How to prepare yourself, the treatment space, and the recipient for a Reiki session
• The Usui Reiki hand positions for self-treatment and treating others
• You will receive four Reiki attunements, enabling you to channel Reiki energy

The cost of the course is £220, which includes:

• Two full days of training
• Certification in Usui Reiki Level 1
• A comprehensive course manual
• Refreshments on both days

By the end of the course, you will have the knowledge, confidence, and practical skills to use Reiki for yourself, family, friends, and pets

Reiki Level 2 Course

Course Format
The course is held in Keswick and takes place over two full days (9.00am - 5.30pm)

Training is delivered in a relaxed and supportive atmosphere, with plenty of opportunities for questions, discussion, and practical experience

Please note that participants must have completed Usui Reiki Level 1 training and have been attuned for a minimum of three months prior to attending this course

Reiki Level 2 is known as the Practitioner Level. Upon successful completion of the course, you will be qualified to obtain professional insurance and offer Reiki treatments to clients

What you’ll learn

The course follows the National Occupational Standards for Reiki and includes:

• Setting up and developing your Reiki business, including professional practice, health and safety requirements, relevant legislation, maintaining professional standards, client care, and record keeping
• Three powerful Reiki symbols and how to use them within treatments
• How to send distant Reiki healing using the Reiki symbols
• A deeper exploration of the human energy field
• The causes of energy blockages and the relationship between emotional and physical wellbeing
• How to assess, balance, and support healing within the seven major chakras
• Traditional Japanese Reiki cleansing techniques
• Methods for enhancing and developing your intuition
• Two further Reiki attunements

• Certification in Usui Reiki Level 2

By the end of the course, you will have developed your Reiki practice to practitioner level and gained the knowledge, confidence, and skills required to offer Reiki treatments professionally

I am delighted to host wellness events alongside my friend and fellow FHT-registered therapist and trainer, Sarah Weaver

Together, we regularly offer nurturing workshops and retreats, including Qigong, meditation and sound bath evenings and days, self-care retreat days, and Reiki development days for practitioners of all levels

Our carefully designed events provide a welcoming space to relax, recharge, and support your personal wellbeing, nurturing the mind, body, and soul
